Temporary Host was a two-day symposium that brought together present and future ICFAR projects and partners in order to foster new international collaborations and discusss present initiatives. Curated as a series of linked tables, the event focused upon research development in art schools and how we connect research practice to contexts that inform it beyond the institutional agenda.

ICFAR would like to thank all of you who were able to attend Temporary Host and for your contributions to the conversations at the event and on this site. We are now looking at how projects and themes can be further developed, drawing from discussions held at the October Gallery and online.  We are keen to maintain the momentum of this site as a focus for the further exploration of possible projects and collaborations raised by Temporary Host.
